New construction of a classic looking Dutch Colonial on a great lot near the duck pond in Peachtree Heights. The exterior is in keeping with the surrounding homes, however the interior has a more modern take than you might expect. We used a pair of bi-folding doors between the rear screened porch and the main living area to create a really large open feeling connecting you to the backyard. A plaster finish was applied to the walls to give a little texture and warmth as we used very little interior trim except for baseboards. The house was designed without a formal living room or dining room, but it has a large dining table next to the kitchen and family room. The family really enjoys using all the rooms of the house on a daily bases.
